4人英语小剧本

Title: Will power(意志力)

Characters:Mike(M) ,Dan(D), Tom(T),Nate(N) ---classmates

Scene----in the college dorm

Dan is playing a computer game on his laptop. Tom is sleeping. Nate is going out to buy some food.

Mike came back from a morning jogging.

M: Hi, Dan, what are you doing?

D: I am playing crossfire.

M: Where is Tom?

D: Don't you see? He is still sleeping.

M: My goodness! I can't believe this! He got to get up now. Don't you remember we are required to make up a four people dialogue for tomorrow's English class?

D: Yes, I do. You wake up Tom and I will play one more round of crossfire.

M: You'd better stop playing right now. We don't have much time to prepare this dialogue. Tom! Wake up! And by the way where is Nate?

T: Five more minutes, please. He is out for some stuff.

(At that time,Nate comes in from a supermarket and bought a lot of food for their breakfast.)

N: I'm back.Come on!Wake up!It is time to have breakfast.

M: And after that we still have a lot to do. Hurry up.

T: (Tom sits up in his bed) Can I lie down two more minutes, please, just two more minutes? when Dan finishes his game, I will be fine.I don't know why I am so so sleepy. (Tom lies down again.)

(Nate puts those food out and ready to have a comfortable breakfast.)

N: Guys,let's have a good meal and later do our work.

M: But we must hurry up.Time waits for nobody. If you guys don't stop what you are doing now, I will find somebody else to be my partners.

N: Hey,wait,wait,what's the big deal.It's just a breakfast!

D and T: All right. All right. We listen to you.

M: That's more like it. We need will power.

D、N and T: what is will power?

M: Will power is trying hard not to do something that you really want to do.

D: You mean like trying not to play crossfire?

M: right.

T: You mean like trying not to stay up late?

M: right.

N：you mean like trying not to have a comfortable meal when in a hurry?

M: Absolutely!

Dan turns off his computer. Tom gets up and goes to the bathroom. Nate puts down his delicious food.

(Two minutes later the four maskeetters are working on their assignment.)

(And 30 minutes later...)

Dan: Mike, can I take a little break? Let me play one round and we will continue our work?

Tom: Mike, Can I lie down a minute? My back hurts.

Mike: No! No! No! Let's finish our work first before we do anything. We need will power!!!

Nate: Mike is right, we got to accomplish it as soon as possible.

Dan and Tom: That's true. We need will power! We listen to you.

(Then,the four finally finished their assignment and do what they really what to do.)
