今天的单词很实用哦~~话说俺是看到一个词就会想到对应的代表性电视/电影了~囧
【正文】
最近, 因为 screen quarter 电影配额的问题, film world 电影界吵吵嚷嚷, 可是也没什么办法. 不过, 韩国电影的地位 status 却较之以前有了惊人的提升, 这已是不争的事实了. 当然, 那些让 paparazzo 狗仔队 (注意哦~狗仔队的复数形式是 paparazzi, 可不要加 s/es 了呀~~) 趋之若鹜的世界级大明星功不可没. 这些 movie actor 电影演员们不仅赢得了全世界的承认, 也以自己的形象照亮了 silver screen 银幕.
但是, 一部好的电影作品不应该仅仅归功于 director 导演和创作出精彩 scenario 剧本的作家, 我们绝对不能忽略了大量 staff 演职人员的辛勤工作 toils, 这些人虽然不怎么抛头露面, 但是电影的制作过程片刻离不开他们. 下面就让我们把热烈的掌声 ovation 送给所有的电影工作者吧.
随着韩国电影在国际上的地位不断提高, 甚至涌现出 "韩流 Korean wave" 这样的新潮词汇 neologism. 但是, 随着 film industry 电影工业的发展, 电影商业化 commercialization 无论如何已经不可避免, 随之而来的负面影响 side effect 也就逐渐暴露出来了. 为了吸引 audience 观众, 电影制片上不惜使出浑身解数, 于是色情 erotic 和暴力 violent 镜头层出不穷, 越来越泛滥猖獗 rampant. 而真正的 art film 艺术电影和 independent film 独立电影却越来越没有了生存的空间, 所以我们就有了接触优秀电影作品的机会越来越少的忧虑 concern.
不过, 说到 "韩流" 不能光说电影演员, TV actor 电视演员的功劳也很大哦. 韩国的 soap opera 肥皂剧和 historical drama 历史剧在日本和东南亚等地确实有着很高的人气. 正是凭借这些电视剧, 裴勇俊和李英爱才能成为亚洲巨星.
所以说呢, 我也要通过这本书脱胎换骨为 "亚洲英语老师 (^__^)" . 呵呵. 即使不能成为出演 TV commercial 电视中的商业广告或 TV entertainment 电视娱乐节目的 entertainer 演艺人员, 至少也可以生动有趣的向外国学生传授英语知识, 提高韩国 edutainer 寓教于乐工作者的自尊心 pride 嘛. 什么? 你让我老老实实呆着, 别给国家丢脸吗? 嘿嘿~
【单词扩展】
1. soap opera
特指长时间放映的电视连续剧, 有时也简称为 soap, 最初是因为在电视剧播放中间插播肥皂广告而得名.
2. 前缀 enter-: "在...中间"
前缀 enter- 有 "在...中间" 的意思. 当它与表示 "握, 持" 意思的 tain 相结合, 就从 "抓人" 演变为 "使人愉快" 的意思.
