篇一：关于植树节的英文——arborday
ArborDayisaholidayinwhichindividualsandgroupsareencouragedtoplantandcarefortrees.manycountriesnowobserveasimilarholiday.Thoughusuallyobservedinthespring,thedatevaries,dependingonclimateandsuitableplantingseason。
植物节是个人或是团队一起种植和关爱树木的节目。许多国家都庆祝植树节，不过虽然都是在春天，但根据天气和合适植树的时间不同，植树节的具体日期也有不同。近代最早设立植树节的是美国的内布拉斯加州。1872年4月10日，莫顿在内布拉斯加州园林协会举行的一次会议上，提出了设立重视节的建议。该州采纳了莫顿的建议，把4月10日定为该州的植树节，并于1932年发行世界上首枚植树节邮票。
中国的植树节定于3月12日。1979年2月，中国第五

届全国人大常委会第六次会议决定，将每年的3月12日定为中国的植树节。1981年12月，五届全国人大四次会议又通过了《关于开展全民义务植树运动的决议》，国务院于次年颁布了全民义务植树运动的具体实施办法。植树节前后，我国各地都要集中进行植树造林活动。植树节的来历
