广东农垦是国家农业部直属垦区，创建于1951年。历经半个多世纪的垦荒拓业，垦区已在广州、深圳、湛江、茂名、阳江、揭阳、汕尾、汕头以及北京、香港和泰国、越南、马来西亚、贝宁等国家与地区发展成为拥有独资、控股、参股、合资合作企业260多家及一批事业单位，总资产150多亿元的集群式企业集团，形成以南亚热带特色农业为主，一、二、三产业全面协调发展的格局。全垦区从业人员12.70万人，拥有土地总面积320多万亩。
Being established in 1951, GuangDong Agribusiness Group Corporation (GDA is now an enterprise group directly
subordinated under Ministry of Agriculture of the State Council. After over 50 years’ development, GDA has set up more than 260 enterprises of wholly funded, shareholdings, joint ventures and a group of institutions in cities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhanjiang, Maoming, Yangjiang, Jieyang, Shanwei, Shantou and Beijing, Hong Kong as well as in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and Benin. Total assets amount to over 15 billion yuan and GDA owns 127,000 employees and about 220,000 ha of land area. While giving prominence to the development of the primary agriculture or specialized sector in tropical crops, GDA has also formed a harmonious and all-round development pattern among its agriculture, downstream processing and tertiary or service industry.
农业主要从事橡胶、糖业两大支柱产业以及剑麻、乳业、水果、养殖业等优势产业的生产经营。垦区引进国外先进的现代大型农业机械和精准化农业技术，建设了一大批国家级科技园区、高产稳产的产业基地和名优产品基地，推进农业产业化经营。 Besides rubber and cane-sugar of the pillar agricultural practices, GDA also engages in sisal, dairy, fruits, cultivation of
aquatic products and animal husbandry. With advanced and modern agricultural machines and precise agricultural technology introduced from abroad, a group of scientific and technological gardens, high yields and fine products bases of state-level have been established within GDA.
工业已形成橡塑制品、食品生产、乳品加工、生化制药、热作水果加工、新型建材、机械装配等行业。
Among the processing industries, there are rubber and plastic products, dairy and foods processing, bio-chemistry, tropical fruits processing, new style building materials, mechanical making and assembling.
第三产业主要从事酒店与旅游、房地产开发、贸易与商务、物业管理与仓储物流、出租汽车等行业。
Major tertiary or service industries include the business of hotels, restaurants and tourism, real estate development, trades and commerce, properties management, storage and logistics as well as taxi services.
垦区积极实施“走出去”发展战略，已在海外建立大规模橡胶生产和加工基地。同时形成了包括剑麻制品、畜产品、水产品、
菠萝罐头、玉晶石等为主要出口产品的生产加工基地。建立了一批中外合资合作企业。
GuangDong Agribusiness Group Corporation also devotes vigorous efforts to carry out the “Going Global” strategy and has set up tropical crops cultivation and processing bases overseas. GuangDong Agribusiness Group Corporation is one of the
major production bases of natural rubber in China. With 40,000 ha of rubber plantations, Guangken Rubber Group of GDA possesses 3 modern rubber processing centers with annual processing capacity of rubber over 30,000 tons. GDA also runs rubber processing bases in ASEAN with annual production of dry rubber over 300,000 tons.

本集团旗下的广垦糖业集团，拥有国家级重点龙头企业的丰收糖业公司等7家制糖企业，形成集生产、加工、销售一体化，总加工能力日榨量4万吨，年产蔗糖超过50万吨。糖业集团积极拓展精制糖、蔗渣纸、酒精、生物有机肥等综合利用，延长
产业链条。通过推进全国唯一的甘蔗机械化试验，引进以色列电脑自动控制调节水肥的地埋式滴灌等现代生态农业技术，带动覆盖垦区50万亩高产稳产甘蔗基地。
Guangken Sugar Group of GDA owns the national pillar enterprise Fengshou Sugar Company and 6 other sugar processing factories. With daily crashing capacity of 40,000 tons and annual sugar yields over 500,000 tons, the Group has established complete networks for sugarcane cultivation, sugar processing and products marketing. The Group also makes good use of the byproducts for producing bagasse paper, alcohol and bio-organic fertilizer. The Group is the only pilot sugarcane mechanization production base in China. By importing computer-controlled facilities from Israel for dripping irrigation and modern biology agricultural technology, the Group has motivated and established 33,400 ha of high and stable yield sugarcane bases. 剑 麻 SISAL

加工产品有15个系列几百个花色品种，出口畅销欧洲、美洲、澳洲市场。剑麻产品销售总量占全国65％以上的份额。利用剑麻皂素合成甾体激素药品。
Dongfang Sisal Group of GDA is one of the Provincial Pillar enterprises and it is the largest one in its kind in China with about 7,000 ha of growing area and complete processing facilities. There are 15 series with hundreds kinds and varieties of sisal products which are well sold to the markets in Europe, America and Australia. The selling of sisal products occupies over 65% of the national markets. Extracted juice from sisal leaves can be refined and produced into steroid hormones. 乳制品
DAIRY PRODUCTS
本集团拥有国家级重点龙头企业的广东燕塘乳业公司和湛江湖光奶业公司两个乳品生产企业，辐射带动饲养奶牛2万多头。燕塘乳品为首批国家学生奶定点生产企业，是省级乳业科技创新中心、省食品放心工程示范基地。“燕塘牛奶”已形成日加工能力300吨乳品的规模，成为华南地区最具实力的乳品企业。
GDA owns Guangdong Yantang Dairy Company (National
Pillar Enterprise and Zhanjiang Huguang Dairy Company with milk supplied from over 20,000 milk cows. The Yantang Dairy Products are among the first group of national enterprises purposely specified for supplying to school pupils. Yantang Dairy has been termed as the safety foodstuff demonstration base in Guangdong Province. “Yantang Milk” with daily processing capacity of 300 tons has become the strongest dairy products enterprise in South China. 热带水果与加工
TROPICAL FRUITS AND FRUITS PROCESSING
本集团是中国南亚热带水果重要生产基地之一，拥有南亚热带水果种植面积40万亩，年总产量20多万吨。其中菠萝、红江橙、番石榴、红阳桃等5个基地被农业部授予“全国南亚热带作物名优基地”；5个生产基地被农业部授予“全国无公害农产品示范基地”。红江橙是国宴佳果；丰收菠萝罐头厂是全国最大的菠萝罐头生产和出口基地，浓缩果汁和果酱生产线，年加工鲜果可达20万吨以上。
GDA is one of the key sub-tropical fruits producing bases in China and owns about 27,000 ha of fruits growing area with annual yields over 200,000 tons. Among the fruits, production
bases of pineapple, Hongjiang Orange, guava and Hongyangtao (Carambola were termed as National Fine and Famous Base for Sub-tropical Crops by Ministry of Agriculture. Other 5 bases were termed as National Agricultural Produces Demonstration Base for Pollution - free by Ministry of Agriculture. Hongjiang Orange is listed as national precious fruits species and served at state banquet. Fengshou Pineapple Cannery is the largest producing and exporting base of its kind in China. Concentrated pineapple juice and jam processing lines possess annual processing capacity of fresh fruits over 200,000 tons. 养殖业
CULTIVATION OF LIVESTOCK AND ANIMAL HUSBANDRY 集团旗下的广东广垦水产发展有限公司以国家级海洋研究所的技术为依托，以农业部无公害农产品生产示范基地为载体，在垦区建立集种苗繁殖、生态养殖、冷冻加工、出口销售等产加销一体化的产业基地，辐射带动垦区农场和周边农村形成10万亩的海水养殖带。有肉牛生产基地、山塘养鱼、梅陇水产养殖

Guangdong Guangken Aquaculture Development Co., Ltd. of GDA, the pollution free agricultural produces demonstration base of Ministry of Agriculture, has established the industrial base completed from nursery, ecological breeding, cold storage and export by using the technology from national marine research institute. This has also given an impetus to local people around the base and the locals have established about 6,700 ha of seawater breeding belt.
