Beef Noodles

Among Gansus local flavors, beef noodle is the most famous snack. There are five elements in beef noodle: clear, white, red, green and yellow. Clear is the noodle soups nature. The noodle soup cooked with 10 condiments smells fragrant. White means the white turnip. Red is the red pepper. Green is the green vegetable, such as garlic sprout. Yellow means the color of cooked noodles. Restaurants for beef noodles can be found everywhere in Lanzhou.

Beef noodle enjoys great prestige all over the country because of its good fragrance and tastes. However, beef noodle can be very different in its color, shape and flavor in different places of the country. The main reason is that the difference in soil and water of the whole country gives rise to changes of composition in main and minor ingredients. Therefore, it is not so easy for the customers in most parts of the country to eat the true "Lanzhou Beef Noodles". The successful techniques of the soup can only be achieved in Lanzhou, and the beef noodle is delicate, refreshing, cheap and tastes good.

Lanzhou beef noodles has such ingredients as soft beef, clear and white radish, red pepper, green garlic sprout, flexible noodles, smooth, refreshing as well as harmonious cooking liquor in its soup, delicious smell and tempting appetite and so on.

What's more, there are many kinds of noodles, for example, noodles with a width of about two fingers or one finger wide or shape of grass-blade, fine as silk. Tourists can choose according to their own wishes. A bowl of beef noodles just contains a sprig of spaghetti, but it is not only smooth and refreshing, but also delicious in taste as well as delicate in its appearance.
