　　第二个上去的是袋鼠，它兴高采烈的说：“哈哈，从现在开始，是我来当百兽之王，你们得听我的命令，必须跳着走。”动物们听了，大叫起来说：“啊，又要学跳着走，一定会很累的。
　　”小动物们不愿意，直摇头，但又得服从命令，只好学着跳着走。又经过了一个星期，动物们又来到了百兽之王那里，看谁能当上百兽之王。第三个上去的是小猴子。动物们觉得小猴子又要让我们爬到树枝上，整天把树枝当成秋千荡来荡去。但小猴子不是这样说的，它说：“从现在开始，你们这些动物都可以过着自己想干的生活，我也不要求你们什么了。”动物们听了大声欢呼：“小猴子是百兽之王，小猴子是百兽之王??”狮子正式宣布：“其他的动物我就不选了，现在就是小猴子当真正的百兽之王啦！”动物们听了大声欢呼：“太好了，太好了。”我明白了不要强力要求别人什么，别的动物才会自觉的听你的，这样你的收获会更大的

　　东北虎
　　只要一提到虎,我们就会想到它那健壮的身体,锋利的爪牙和威风凛凛的样子。虎被称为百兽之王,它是胜利和力量的象征。
　　其实在现实生活中,九种虎中的四种已经灭绝了，仅存的五种虎中,也有几种的数量仅剩两位数了。西伯利亚虎，在中国我们称之为东北虎，恐怕是我们再熟悉不过的虎了。东北虎的毛色非常美丽,额前有一个“王”字形的斑纹,一身淡黄色的长毛上夹杂着黑色条纹,显得十分漂亮。在所有老虎中，它每平方英寸的毛发数量是最多的。东北虎拥有强健、粗壮的四肢和一对如铜铃一般炯炯有神的眼睛，气宇轩昂，英姿飒爽。东北虎是肉食性动物,它身上最厉害的武器就是锋利的爪和犬齿。它的爪长达十多厘米,伸缩自如,比钢刀还利,就是坚硬的牛皮也禁不住它一抓。犬齿更是撕碎猎物必不可少的“餐刀”，东北虎的犬齿十分粗大，呈圆锥状，齿尖部稍向后弯，长54-78mm，粗20-26mm。虎的舌头上还有很多尖锐的刺,适于嘶咬。东北虎凭借像海绵一样柔软的趾垫和掌心的肉垫,走起路来像猫一样无声无息,灵敏而富有节奏感。由于身体条件上的优势,它们的捕食本领也比狮子高明,常采取静伏、潜行至一定距离，然后再突然袭击猎物。它的一声长啸,会吓得许多动物伏地不动,然后再使用扑、掀和剪等方法来捕捉猎物。虎的一扑很厉害,能远扑七米之外,跃高2米；一掌可以击倒一只鹿。如果遇上牛这样的大家伙,它就从后面跃上牛背,抓住头颈,前顶后扯；如果从正面袭击,它就会抓住牛的咽喉,连咬带撕,再壮的牛也只能任它宰割了。西伯利亚虎常单独活动，只有在繁殖季节雌雄才在一起生活。东北虎通常每胎产2到4名幼仔，自然条件下雌虎要每隔2到3年才能繁殖一次。东北虎的寿命一般15-20年。
　　近些年由于森林日趋减少,素有“森林保护者”美誉的老虎不但保护不了被人类不断吞噬的森林,连自身的生存也受到环境问题的严重严胁。目前,我国境内东北虎数量稀少，且行踪隐秘，野外调查和研究都非常困难。东北虎已经被列为我们国家的一类保护动物,相信经过大家共同不懈的努力,一定可以让东北虎“雄姿永存”。
