As Jude Judy says, “Beauty fades, Dumb is forever". Sure we would all love to look at something handsome/beautiful the rest of our lives. However, if there is nothing inside, the outside will get boring pretty fast. I would definitely go for the internal beauty, but me, like most people, are initially attracted to the outer beauty. However, once you truly love someone, they become beautiful inside and out in most cases.

Internal beauty is more important, because external beauty may vanish with time but internal beauty i.e. your good nature, behavior should remain pleasant for the people around you and only it will make you a better and more likeable person.
It's true that interior beauty is more important, but if you are not happy with your exterior, you may limit yourself in what you do and not make the most of your abilities. Whether or not others find you attractive is not important. Feeling positive and confident is sure to draw people in no matter how you look!
I think that in romantic relationships, it is mostly the physical attraction that grabs the person's attention at first. After that, if the relationship is successful, the two people get to know each other's personality and heart. In the end, a person's heart is what will win someone over and keep them by your side.
Definitely inner beauty for me, as the book which has the most beautiful cover in the world can have the worst contents. I also have found that when I get to know a person who's beautiful inside yet may be not so good-looking outside, that once I've reached their inner beauty, the outside of them becomes beautiful too.
Internal beauty is the beauty of your personality and the kindness in your heart. External beauty is your appearance on the outside. Many people first look at external beauty at first but if they find out that you are hideously ugly internally they will be repelled by you.
External beauty' just can attract other people in a second, and cannot last long. 'internal beauty' can bring friendships and maintain the friendships between one another. This feature makes 'internal beauty' more important and more valuable than 'external beauty'.

To be beautiful externally means to be beautiful on the outside such as having a nice figure and an attractive smile. Internal beauty is important because beyond looks, it is your personality that is noticed. External beauty is important because it is your attractive figure that brings notice to someone’s great personality or external beauty. To me, internal and external beauty are represented and influenced by family members, friends, and society as a whole. Family members are important how we perceive internal and external beauty. Depending on which family member, there is an absolute distinction made between external beauty and internal beauty. Parents are most likely to look at the internal beauty rather than the external, while siblings look at the external part more closely. This, however, is not always true. My parents seem to favor their ancestry, as compared to others. Since I am of Polish descent, my parents believe that external beauty is irrelevant as that person is Polish. This changes when the person is not Polish. If the person is not Polish, then his or her external beauty for some strange reason becomes very important. My brother on the other hand seems to be the most reasonable. Sure, he looks if the girl that I am dating is pretty, meaning if she has external beauty, but he quickly overlooks that, and stresses the internal beauty as well. I guess that the siblings are the most reasonable of judges concerning internal and external beauty. Parents have a “duty” to preserve their heritage, and look as someone from a different area of birth, as “outsiders” and therefore their external beauty has to severely overweigh their internal beauty. My brother thinks much differently. He tries to balance both the internal beauty with the external beauty, make the most reasonable judgement between external and internal beauty.

If you have to choose in between these two what will you choose for your lifetime. Well, if you describe beauty it will go like this. Beauty is an innate and emotional perception of life's affirmative and meaningful aspects within objects in the perceived world – e.g. vitality, fertility, health, happiness, goodness, and love. Cognition of "beauty" involves the interpretation of objects as being in balance and harmony with nature, which in turn elicits a sense and experience of attraction, affection, and pleasure. In its most profound sense, beauty is said to engender a salient experience of positive reflection with regard to the meaning of one's own being within natural life. An "object of beauty" may be anything that reveals or resonates with a personal meaning. Hence religious and moral teachings have often focused on the divinity and virtue of beauty, to assert natural beauty as an aspect of a spiritual beauty (e.g. truth) and to define all self-centered or materialistic pretensions as based in ignorance. The ancient story of Narcissus for example, deals with the distinction between recognizing beauty and falling into vanity. The presence of the self in any human context means that beauty is naturally tied to its human meaning, wherein human beauty is often the dominant aspect of a greater natural beauty. Otherwise, objects can be defined as belonging to any of various types, such as "artificial," or "intellectual" beauty. In the modern context, the usage of beauty as means to promote an ideology or dogma has been a focus of societal debates which center around issues of prejudice, ethics, and human rights. The usage of beauty for purposes of commercialism is a controversial aspect of the "culture wars," wherein feminism typically claims such usage promotes a dogmatic (e.g. "The Beauty Myth") rather than a virtuous understanding of beauty. The literal opposite of beauty is ugliness – i.e. the perceived lack of beauty, which stimulates displeasure and engenders a deeper negative perception of the object.

Nowadays, cosmetic surgery, such as liposuction, breast implant and rhytidectomy, is becoming more and more popular. While it sounds good on the surface, it has been widely debated that those people can keep the “good” effect all the time. As far as I am concerned, beauty is human nature, so-called “the heart of beauty in everyone”. However, there is no need to change one’s appearance on purpose, other than one have some special illnesses or unintentional injuries. In my heart, the internal beauty is far more important than the external beauty.
For one thing, as Chinese often say, “Body and skin, by the parents, afraid to damage”. Everyone is a special individual in the world. Cosmetic surgery can not benefit you a lot, and its risk is very high. Although the technology of cosmetic surgery is in the unceasing enhancement, it still has the possibility of failure. Why should we accept an operation with a little success and risk my own health? For another, cosmetic surgery is not cheap, and the rehabilitation period may be longer and more challenging. It is a waste of money and time. Why do we change a new way to be beautiful? I believe the prime reason of those people that wanting a cosmetic surgery is due to the lack of self-confidence. Those people think they are unlucky because of having ugly appearance. Actually, self-confidence comes from exactly where you are going and what should you do. When you are successful, then you will have confidence. Your appearance may be one factor of your success, but it is not the basic factor. Therefore, you should free yourself from the pressure of the appearance. Don’t hide your talent, knowledge and beautiful heart, go for your dream and live for it. Moreover, cosmetic surgery won’t be the shortcut to the success. I firmly believe that only diligence is the best way. Because it is the inevitable fact of life that the pretty faces will be withered someday. When that day really comes, what will be left? It is only one’s internal beauty that lasts forever, and the trace of time will add flavor to it.
In conclusion, everyone has his own beauty, no matter what it is, and this is his distinction from others. The external beauty just stands for a good gene, but it can’t instead of anything. Beauty lies not in one’s appearance but in one’s talent, temperament and personality. Just keep one’s nature beauty, because it is the essence of all life can appreciate.
