前言
可靠性数据是系统可靠性设计、研究、分析、评定和改进的依据，数据收集、处理与分析则是一切可靠性工作的基础。对收集的可靠性数据进行严格的筛选，正确地分析处理，建立可靠性相关模型，真实地反映部件的失效规律，用于指导产品的可靠性设计、分析及评估。
可靠性数据处理及分析为可靠性设计和可靠性试验提供了基础，为可靠性管理提供了决策依据。可靠性数据分析可以定量评估车辆的可靠性，发现可靠性设计的薄弱环节，改进设计。有效的可靠性数据是开展可靠性、维修性、保障性分析的基础，是决策的依据。
