The Civet Cats Civet cats is a kind of mysterious animal, they can use a illusion similar to the smoke screen, it was called Lycanthropy. Their bodies can turned into any shapes if they practiced well. And they can turn the leaves into money to cheat men. They like to live in the places that close to people. Because there are farmlands, they can prey and can also picked up some fruits to eat.
There is a beautiful forest called Arilli. There lived many innocent and lovely civet cats. There is one civet cats family called Moriala. There village head is called Tanuki, who was more than 100 years old. They found a deserted temple, and moved their nest there. Shouki is one in them. He is a brave, smart and handsome guy and is very popular here. But sometimes he is easily gets excited. After years’ peaceful life, suddenly one day, a shovel came here and broken the calm there. Due to there are more and more population, human’s settlements is far from enough, so the government decided to develop more new towns. The Arilli Forest was in their plan. As the forest was gone little by little, food became less and less. Along with other parts of the civet cats came to compete for food, contradiction is produced.
One day, Shouki had an quarrel with another family’s members. As there quarrel was becoming more and more fierce, a war was about to start. At the very moment, Tanuki, the village head came.
He stopped the quarrel and said, “Today, whether we win or you win, we are all losers. The forest is going. We will become homeless and will die out one day. Just stop hurting each other.”
The civet cats all climbed up to the high pressure tower and overlooked: distant afar, human beings’ construction projects were eating their homes. Facing this emergency, all civet cats live in the forest gathered to the ruined temple and wanted to figure out a solution. Everyone agreed to elected Tanuki as the meeting host. After a long discussion, in order to survive, the civet cats decided to revive the old Lycanthropy and then to droved away human beings.
Tanuki was the one who has mastered Lycanthropy very well. So, without any doubt, he became their main teacher. Four other capable older became their teachers, too. Everyday, they got up early and then started to practice. Shouki was a fast learner. He always mastered a skill first. The training was hard, but was filled with joy, too. Everybody practiced very hard. They wanted to expel human beings away from their home as soon as possible.
In the practice, Shouki met with beautiful Soveit and they fell in love immediately. They got married soon and then they had one daughter and one son. As food became less and less, Tanuki put forward that they must control their population. They tried, but the population was more and more inevitably.
When most of the civet cats has had a good knowledge of Lycanthropy , they started to take actions.
On a dark windy night, Shouki and other two civet cats came to where the
workers lived. After a whole days’ hard work, they were all at rest. Someone were playing card, some were eating and drinking and others were watching TV.
Shouki and his companies turned themselves into man-looked children, two boys and one girl. Then they knocked at the door. One worker opened the door and felt a little strange. He asked them, “Who are you and why are you here?” Heard that, they all began to cry.
Shouki said with a cry, “We lost our way and cannot find our home...”
Then, they rushed into the room and running in the house with crying. They ignored the workers and pushed down all their things.
“Where are we?” “Where’s our home?” “where shall we go?”
... They cried and repeated these sentences. The workers stood still there and didn’t know what to do. They tried to stop them, but failed. The room was in a mess in one second.
