《给英语教师的101条建议》读书笔记

常言道:茶亦醉人何必酒,书能香我不需花。我们渴望读书,渴望获得知识,但是我们却常常会有这样的疑惑:我们应该如何读书?自古以来,人们获取知识的途径多种多样,而读书作为其中一种既普通又直接但却非常有效的求知方法沿用至今。作为教师,从书本中获取知识就显得尤其重要。人类创造的知识财富,如同浩瀚的海洋,博大精深。作为我们教师需要加强各方面的修养来提高自己。近段时间读了尹刚、陈静波主编的《给英语教师的101条建议》,我感触很深,受益匪浅,这本书用非常朴素的语言,说了一些我们每天都经历的事情,给了许多我们恍然大悟却又浅显易懂的道理。让我忽然间感觉云开日出,阳光明媚,我这才惊喜地发现了和自己近在咫尺,而先前确乎视而不见的真实的教育风景??

书中给教师提出了101条建议,每一条建议谈一个问题,有生动的实际事例,也有精辟的理论分析,在厚厚的书页里,作者娓娓道来让你觉察不出教育专著的干涩和乏味,理论与案例有机结合,每次读完都让你回味无穷,意犹未尽。这些建议不论是对新教师还是老教师,在改善学生与老师的关系上产生迅速而有效的效果,使教学效果立竿见影 就像一道绚丽的七彩光,这本书带着她特有的魅力,刺穿了重重迷雾,让我们发现:原来,教师的生活可以如此精彩,教育的方式可以如此多姿!

让我最印象深刻的是英语课堂教学中如何纠错。

作者在《给英语教师的101条建议》一文中提到:学生在课堂活动中的状态,包括他们的学习兴趣、注意力、合作能力、发表的意见和观点、提出的问题与争论乃至错误的回答等,都是教学过程中的生成性资源。在我们的英语课堂上,每天都有学生在出错。认知心理学派认为:错误是学习的必然产物,学生的知识背景、思维方式、情感体验、表达形式往往和成人截然不同,他们在学习过程中出现各种各样的错误是十分正常的。所以,用资源的眼光来看待学生学习中的错误,我们教学的天空会更广阔。

一、预测错误

课堂上的错误,有些是教师能够预料到的。教师课前预计错误,防患未然,通过认真钻研教材,根据学生发生错误的规律,凭借教学经验,可以预测学生学习某知识时可能发生哪些错误。有时故意诱导错误,引导深思教学不仅仅组织单向学习正确知识,引发质疑,更能让学生在思索、讨论中展现多姿多彩的课堂。

二、捕捉错误

课堂教学是一个动态的、变化发展的,在师生、生生交流互动的过程中,随时可能发生错误的学情信息。教师要独具慧眼,及时捕捉稍纵即逝的错误并巧妙运用于教学活动中。关注错误,引导辨析,锻炼自己驾驭课堂的能力,促进教学机智,生成精彩的课堂。

三、善待错误

课堂是学生出错的地方,错误是伴随着学生一起成长的。出错是学生的权利,帮助学生改正错误是教师的义务。回避错误,虽美丽却虚假;

正视错误,虽然会打搅你的课堂预设,却真实有效,显露真实的课堂。我们要善待学生学习中出现的错误,耐心引导他们知其所以然,方能提高学习兴趣,真正掌握英语知识。

四、反思错误

从心理学的角度来说,反思是指自己思维和学习、工作过程中的自我意识和自我监控。让学生带着问题进入教室,带着更多的问题走出教室是我们追求的一种理想境界。让学生反思,完善认知,学会思考。但是让学生带着问题进入课堂又带着同样的问题走出课堂,绝对是教师的失误!教学相长提醒我们要学会反思错误,师生在课堂中共同成长。没有错误就没有正确。有时教学中甚至应该感谢学生的错误,如果学生不犯错误,教师就不能及时发现学生的思维差错、知识缺漏,进而引导学生运用所学的知识正确地去解决问题。因为有了错误,课堂才显得生机勃勃,充满活力;因为有了错误,师生才更能张扬个性,充满灵性。

除此之外这本书还有许多其它的建议让我收益非浅,这些建议主要围绕着新的英语课标的要求,在英语教学理念与策略,知识与技能的教学、课程资源的开发、文化意识、评价方式,学法与教法等方面全景式地勾勒出英语教学的新视野。

the watcher of trueness by alex zhao

i have just finished reading the catcher in the rye, written by jerome david salinger. to some degree, the book reflects his spirit world. it was the publishment of the book, which was a great hit, which created a famous jerome, and a group of holton fans. he is just like a watcher, hold and try to protect the last trueness of the world.

is two days, he was just like an abandoned child, helpless and aimless. in his teachers and parents’ mind, he was just a naughty bad boy, who can do nothing well. but in my opinion, he showed his shining points. through his two-day journey, a picture of the dark side of the society was exposed. when the darkness and badness crashed, he was just a youngster with a heart yearning for beauty and loftiness. he struggled, and tried to protect the trueness around him. he has a wonderful heart longing for a pure world, but without the right and power to change many things, even so, he was still practicing his own mind. dirty talk, uuly behaviors, were just the mask he wore to help him survive. deeply inside his heart, he loved the world, he cared for the children. because of his essence, he helped nuns raise money for survivor, he protected the weak and he took great care of his little sister.

holton is just a youngster trying to save what he treasured. like what he said, “my job is to watch there, if there are any children ran to the cliff edge, i caught him. i do all day long on such a thing. i just want to be a catcher in the rye.”

in a word, i would also like to be a watcher of trueness in my world, not worrying or complaining like holton, but influence the world in my way. i will learn to distinguish goodness against badness, and hold my essence like a watcher.
