Themachine’ssweepingvictorieshaveonceagainmadeAIahottopic.Somepeoplewelcometheprogressandtheartificialintelligenceisexpectedtobenefitmankindinmorefields;otherpeopleworrythatartificialintelligencewilleventuallygetoutofcontrol.
Indeed,artificialintelligencecanbenefitmankindinmanyfields,suchastreatmentofdiseases,industrialproductionandlargedatacalculation.AsforGoogle’sAlphaGo,ithasachievedgreatprogressandthisprogresscouldberevolutionary.
Atthesametime,somepeoplethinkweshouldnotbecarriedawaybyconvenience,wecannotignoretheriskofartificialintelligence.But

Firstofall,thedevelopmentofartificialintelligencewillleadto
unemploymentinalargefields.Thisisthemostdirectconsequences.Artificialintelligencecanworkmoreefficiently,andnobodycandenythattheycanworkascheaperlabour.Then,themostaffectedareasisareasoftheeconomy.Manyeconomiclawcanbemodeled,societymaybeunstable.Thelastthingispeoplecanbemoreandmorelazy,peoplewhoisthinkingwouldbeonlyafew.Itviolatestheoriginalintentionofsocialdevelopment.
However,artificialintelligencealsohavethepositiveside,theywon'tbetiredandfoodandwaterbecomeunnecessary,theyworkbyelectricity.Butweshouldunderstandthattheadvantagesshouldnotbeabused,ifso,therewillbeanunpredictableending.

However,relyingexcessivelyoncomputerscanbringaboutlotsofproblems.Firstandformost,computerscanmakepeoplelazy.Computersarefasterthanhumanincalculation,morecapableingettingthingsdoneallatonetime.Onceapersonhassuchanassistant,heorshecanbeaddictedtogettinghelped.Thus,whentheyrunintoproblems,insteadofthinkingbythemselvesandtryingtheirbesttofigurethingsout,thelazyversionofthemmayjustturntocomputerforconvenience.
Inmyopinion,weshouldstrikeabalancebetweenaskingforhelpfromcomputersandworkingonourown.Nevertheless,computersareonlytoolsdevisedbyhumanwhoshouldnotbetakenplacebythem.Onlyinkeepingourmindsactiveandbrainstrainedcanwehumaninventsmarterdevicesthancomputerandbuildabetterworldofintelligence.
