Is this / that your pen? 这(那)是你的钢笔吗?

这是一个 句,它是在陈述句“This/ That is…”的基础上把句中is提到

转换而来。在英语中,be动词的一般疑问句式为:be + 主语 + 其他? 肯定回答:Yes, it is. 否定回答:No, it isnt.

(注:“Yes, it is.”不能缩写为“Yes, its.”但否定回答要缩写成“No, it isnt.”)

做一做:找出错误并改正

辨析nonot:

1. 这两个词均指“ ”,但用法不同。No常用作一般疑问句的否定回答开头,也可单独使用成为一句话,当修饰名词时,相当于not a(an)not any

例如:--- Is this a book? 这是一本书吗? --- , it isnt. 不,它不是。

I have pen. 我没有钢笔。

2. not多用于否定动词,使整个句子或句子的一部分含有否定之意,not不能单独使用,放在be动词之后,并能与前面is, are等词缩写成nt.

思考:如果只用一个词来回答“不”,应该选择no还是not?

辨析excuse me sorry

excuse me sorry达“对不起”之意,然而在实际运用时还有一些区别。

excuse me常用于事前,请他人帮忙,或会打搅到别人的情况。而sorry一般用于事后对所犯错误或不能满足对方要求等表示歉意。

思考:如果你不小心打碎了别人的杯子,你应该说sorry还是excuse me

我们学习了形容词性物主代词:my, your, his, her等。在本单元我们也学习了mine, yours, his, hers等名词性物主代词。形容词性物主代词和名词性物主代词有哪些区别呢?

1. 形容词性物主代词起 的作用,用在 前。

2. 名词性物主代词起 的作用。

辨析someany

这两个词都可以表示“一些”。Some既可以修饰可数名词的复数,也可以修饰不可数

名词常用于肯定句表示请求的疑问句中;而any则常用在否定句疑问句中。

Eg: I have pens, but I dont have penculs. (some, any)
