ladies and gentlemen, may i take your attention? thank you! today i will give a talk about biding to host the national civilized city. with the developing of societal science and technology in the earth which i love deeply, our life becomes more and more convinent and comfortable. but on the other hand, how is our envorinment and how is peoples cultural quality. iam very sad .because people throw rabbish here and there. and people drive car again sting the rules. how terrible our city is!
but luckly, the govenment of jiang xi province hosts an activity named bid to host the national civilizd city.it can help to ehance our cultural quality as the same time the developing of sicence and technolog.
this activity let citizens know the ture meaning of civilizd city.besides,let people know more about the basic knoeledge and low.also, let us know hosting the national civilizd city is not a thing of a moment!so we must have perseverance to do what we can do and what we should do to help our city to be more civilizable.
for example, we can hold some good activities every month.we can make some speeches to arouse the publics aware.

崇明正在创建全国县级文明城市（the national civilized city at the county level），全县各行各业都在行动。假设《崇明报》正在向全县人民征文，请你从一个高中生的视角撰写征文。征文要求：

此篇在审题上和2015年高考真题作文一样有一个类似的陷阱，题目已经告诉考生，要为申请县级文明城市举行征文活动，这个已经是个已知的前提，学生不需要在文中赘述这个背景，也不需要写出希望主办方能够采纳这篇文章，因为需要呈现的是一篇成品，当然不需要这种希望入选的话语，如果是以发邮件形式来向主办方发送文章，那么希望采纳的话语也应该是写在邮件的正文部分，文章以word文档的附件形式传送。所以这个陷阱考生要注意绕行。
【分析】：
亮点二：用“bucket theory（木桶理论）”这个著名的商业理论联系到崇明县和上海国际大都市的关系当中，非常形象，更加可以抓住考官眼球。从道理上看，上海要想得到全面发展，就要把短板加高，想当然认为崇明是落后地方的人会认为崇明就是那块“短板”，然而事实却不是如此。
亮点三：it’s happy to see和it sounds fascinating to have，这两个以it开头的句式具有亲切感，没有那种非常生硬的“firstly, secondly, last but not least”, 这属于所谓的“模板词”，但是考生们可以设想一下，如果一个阅卷老师看到的成千上万的作文里都是“firstly, secondly, last but not least”，她/他会不会审美疲劳呢？并且这里在说崇明的“新貌”，也不需要一板一眼的用词。
亮点四：最大的亮点就是“破折号”的使用，在英语文章里，我们其实很常见到“破折号”，这个符号的意义就是进一步解释，并且有连词的功能，可以连接一个句子；在句中，如果没有上海长江大桥和隧道，人们往返崇明岛和市区就会很不方便路上花费很多时间，这带有一个前后对比的转折，但如果用but, 则非常不严谨，因为在英文里，重要说明的结论才会跟在but的后面，而在此重要的说明是上海长江大桥和隧道的通行给人们出行带来便利，故用“破折号”可以恰当表达这个意思。
亮点五：不住在崇明的外地人和崇明本地人，这个表达估计会难倒一部分考生，outsider在美剧gossip girl的每集开场白里都会说到，就是“外地人”的安全表达。
亮点六：where引导非限制性定语从句的用法，给文章句式增色。
亮点七：“空气清新”、“鸟语花香”这个成语在英文里的对应说法。
亮点八：“全家”、“7-eleven”是上海大街小巷随处可见的便利店，写在作文里非常接地气也显出考生的生活观察力。
亮点九：“触手可及”中的“可及”的安全英文对应表达是“have access to”, 这个词组看似眼熟，但用起来考生往往束之高阁而不用。
亮点十：在句式上这是个非限制性定语从句，先行词是“but, in chongming, people can easily see a stretch of land on the horizon”所说的事实；意思上，在高楼林立的国际大都市中不可能看到开阔的景观，这个就是崇明岛和上海市区非常明显的对比，但是考生要敢于用英文表达出来。
一篇好文章包括有好的写作切入点，好的文章布局，严谨的用词，哪怕精确到一个标点符号，并且不能凡是高难词就硬塞入文章中，因为有些地方需要的是贴切和共鸣，生搬硬套一些高难词而不知其特点的使用禁忌，反而弄巧成拙。所以考生们平时不能只顾埋头做题，埋头背模板，要增加阅读量，观察语言习惯和语言现象。
