The Importance of Punctuality

The golden rule when attending a job interview is never to be late. If you are tardy to a job interview, you might as well turn around and go home. That may seem a little harsh, but the importance of punctuality cannot be overlooked.

First of all, being punctual is a sign of respect. It's an important courtesy, for being on time means you care.

Second, being punctual reveals a person's character. It lets us know what the person is like. Is he responsible and mature? A person's reputation suffers when he is late. The late person often blames someone or something else. You had better be wary of this kind of person. Third, most people hate to wait. It disappoints them and ruins their mood.

Being late makes a bad impression and it wastes other people's time. Many consider it a careless and rude thing to do. Fourth, you should make punctuality a habit. Always leave early for your dates and give yourself plenty of time. Remember to allot extra time for travel and always show up ahead of time. It won't kill you to show up early and wait. In conclusion, there is no reason to make people wait. You must be punctual for every appointment and date. Show your respect and true colors to others, and I am sure they will return the favor in kind. Make sure you are never late.

守时的重要性

负责任、成熟吗？一个人若迟到，他的名声会受损。迟到的人常会责怪其

他的人或事。你最好注意这种人。第三，大部分人都不喜欢等，等待令人

失望，会破坏人的心情。迟到会给人坏印象，浪费别人的时间“许多人认

为这样子是粗心又不礼貌的行为“第四，你应该要养成准时的习惯“赴约

时一定要早点出发，给自己充裕的时间。记得要预留路上可能花费的时

间，一定要提早出现。早点到达，等一下没有什麽关系。
