The film’s director is Rob Reiner who also directs the bucket list. Rob Reiner is used to thinking about emotional subjects, and his mind is delicate. Rob Reiner presents a world of charisma to people with distinctive comprehension of life, fascinating story plots, unique characters, and magnificent sound and beautiful pictures. One of the most striking features of his films is the profound and original thinking about life. His works focus on two themes,one consists of love, marriage and family, the other is growth. His films from Hollywood to the world, with his unique ideas influence fans around the world. At the same time, he is unique in character shaping, many characters in his films have left a deep impression.

This film tells a simple romance about a determined girl and an ignorant boy. But the plot of the film is a subtle statement, from the perspective of two people watching the same issue. It shapes vivid roles which exactly reminded audience of their early puberty.

Julie had felt flipped because of Bryce’s eyes at a very early age and began to pay court to him. But at first he was fed up with her and tried his best to get away from her stalking. Julie liked a big sycamore tree near the bus station because she could see the magnificent views with this tree. This action was so strange that Bryce and his classmates can not understand and ridicule her. However, being misunderstood and being looked down upon , Julie started to cut down. She even refused to chat with Bryce after that he had done a set of foolish deed optimism, Bryce began to agree with Julie’s belief and finally he found he had a big crush on her and felt flipped in turn. In the end, Bryce rebuilt a sycamore tree and won bank Julie’s love.

More significantly, the film tells me that we should treasure magnificent views and right values rather than material life. The two protagonists are so lucky that they acquire love and admirable characters with each other.
