但丁·加布里埃尔·罗塞蒂 Dante Gabriel Rossetti (1828-1882英国诗人、画家、先拉斐尔派代表人物，在英国美术史上和诗歌史上都占有重要地位。他于1848年创建“先拉斐尔艺术兄弟会”。1862年他美丽的妻子自杀身亡，伤心与愧疚中他将自己的诗稿全部殉葬，1869年经友人劝说又将其掘出，1870年以《诗集》为名问世。罗塞蒂在文学艺术上主张师法拉斐尔之前、文艺复兴早期及中世纪的文艺精神。通过他，拉斐尔之前的艺术影响渐渐渗透文学领域。他的作品诗中有画，画中有诗，诗画皆有浓厚的唯美主义色彩。 Your hands lie open in the long fresh grass,— The finger-points look through like rosy blooms: Your eyes smile peace.
