agreaterunderstandingoftheenvironmentandfactorsthataffectit.IamalsostudyingChemistryandMathsatA-level.Thepracticalelementofmychemistrycourseinvolvesanunderstandingofproceduresandprecautionsnecessarythroughoutallscience-basedexperiments;Ifeelthatthisunderstandingwillimprovemyabilityinpracticalelementsofthecourse.AfterstudyingA-levelmaths,Ifeelbeingabletointerpretnumericaldataatahighlevelwillalsoenablemetodevelopmyunderstandingofanynumericalinformationthatfeaturesin
thecourse
Iamkeenonsportsandoutdoorpursuits.Ihaveenjoyedarangeofactivitiesfromcountrysidewalkstokayakingandabseiling.BecauseofthisIfeelIwouldparticularlyenjoythefieldworkthecourseoffers.Ihavebeenabletocombinethisinterestinsportwithaparttimejobasaleisureattendantatlocalsportcentres.AspartofthispostIwasaskedtoleadayouthsportsandactivitiesgroupwhichaimstopromotesportamongyoungpeopleinmyarea.ThisactivityhasalsoallowedmetointroduceotheryoungpeopletoactivitiesthatIhaveenjoyed.ThisrolehasalsohelpedmetodevelopskillsthatwouldhelpmewhileIamatuniversity.Thesports
groupinvolvesarrangingindividualsessionsaswellastripsout
Thishasimprovedmyorganisationalskills,whichhasreflectedmyabilitytocombinepart-timeworkwithcollegeeffectively.Workingaspartofateamandservingmembersofthepublichas
alsoimprovedmysocialskills,makingmemoreconfidentwhenworkingwithothersIwishtostudyatuniversity,notonlyfortheknowledgethatIwillgainfromthecourse,butalso
fortheexperienceofuniversitylifehastooffer.DuringmytwoyearsatcollegeIhaveparticipatedinvariousactivities.Forexample,Irepresentedthecollegeatanopenday,volunteeredasacollagecouncilrepresentativeformyformgroup,participatedinablooddonationschemeandwasalsoinvolvedintheshoeboxappeal.TheseactivitiesmeantthatIhavetobeconfident,approachableandpolite.Ifeelthesearecharacteristicsthatwillenable
metogetinvolvedwithstudentlifeatuniversity
Myambitionistoparticipateinconservationworkabroad,beforegainingexperienceinacareerbasedinthisarea.IfeeltheexperienceoutlinedaboveandtheknowledgeIwillgain
