从翻译规范论看许渊冲古诗词英译

【摘要】Chinese classical poetry has been a great treasure not only in Chinese literature but in world literature. But out of the cultural differences, the translation of Chinese classical poetry is rather difficult for translators to gain the interest of the target read⁃er. Xu Yuanchong is being regarded as the best in translating Chinese classical poetry. Based upon Gideon Toury ’s norm theory, the thesis makes a comparatively overall study of Xu Yuanchong’s translation of Chinese classical poetry. The purpose is to make a thorough and objective analysis of translational norms based on a concrete translation case and to give some useful guidance for the Chinese translators.% 中国古典诗集是中国文学乃至世界文学中的珍宝。但由于文化的差异，古诗的英译文很难达到在能让目的语读者接受的情况下尽可能地保持原诗风采的要求，而许渊冲的英译却很好的解决了这一难题。以图里的翻译规范论为指导对许渊冲的译作进行分析，从而使读者对图里的翻译规范论有更加深刻的了解，并为广大的中国译者提供了一些有益的指导。
